The Episcopal Tradition of Preschool in the Heart of Cuero

An outreach ministry of Grace Episcopal Church — Providing an inclusive school environment that places love for one another at the center.

Who We Are

Through the Episcopal tradition of preschool we are an inclusive place of learning and play focusing on Christian values and providing developmentally appropriate guidance for future school success.

High-quality early childhood education in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment

Our Mission

To provide a high-quality early childhood experience in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
while experiencing the joy of learning.

In addition, to prepare students with the foundational skills needed to enter kindergarten.

Our Vision

To create a strong emotional, intellectual, and spiritual foundation for preschoolers.

To offer a structured educational program balanced with group and individual exploration and play – a most valuable form of learning.

To grow in faith and love through weekly chapel.

I am genuinely excited for what Grace Episcopal Church is bringing to the community through the school. After much reflective research, the church felt called to serve the children and young families of our community with a year-round preschool. I am humbled to be a part of this vision.

Meet Cynthia Warzecha

Director of Grace Episcopal School

With 18 years of service to Cuero ISD which included a decade teaching kindergarten, Cynthia brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for early childhood education. Her commitment extends beyond the classroom, with valuable experience in nonprofit management and a background in social work before she entered the education field.

Cynthia holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is very competent in early childhood instruction. She has lived in Cuero for over 25 years and is deeply connected to the community. Cynthia is an active member of Grace Episcopal Church serving on the Vestry and other outreach ministries.

Cynthia is committed to providing a safe, caring, and supportive preschool environment where unbridled curiosity and a joy for learning is at the core.

Kelli Dingle, Preschool Teacher

Preschool Teacher Bio

Grace Episcopal School welcomes Kelli Dingle as our Preschool Teacher. Kelli has taught preschool and kindergarten children for six years. She graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies for EC-6th grade.

Following in her mother’s footsteps, Kelli has always wanted to teach. She learned early on the value of education and the importance of early childhood learning and development.

She has a desire to share the love of Jesus to the littlest of hearts and minds. This commitment is not limited to the young. While at college, she helped start a women’s ministry group to help spread the love of Jesus to other students. Kelli is very active in her church and in youth ministry.

“I love working with children and seeing their eyes light up when they discover something new and doing my best to give them a head start to a bright future.”

Staff and Leadership

The school staff includes a highly qualified director, certified teachers, and educational aides. The staff is required to undergo a background check and complete training in Safeguarding God’s Children, CPR, First Aid and other continuing education.

The school is governed by a Board of Trustees that establishes and maintains school policies and procedures of operation. The school is a 501C(3) organization and a member of the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools

Program Information

Our preschool curriculum is based on the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) Prekindergarten Guidelines and supplemented by the following comprehensive and researched based programs:

• ABCJesusLovesMe - academic and developmentally appropriate curriculum

• Zoophonics - a whole brain approach to learning letters and sounds

• Godly Play - explores God’s presence through stories, wonder, and play.

Most of what children learn is discovered through play. The school’s playground is spacious and designed for fun. The playground equipment features three slides and a climbing wall built to encourage movement and pretend play.
